CBCC ANNOUNCES 2008 PRESIDENT'S AWARD RECIPIENTS

Denver CO (October 3, 2008) - In advance of the Annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Dinner, Colorado Black Chamber President, Wellington Webb, announced today that the recipients of the CBCC 2008 President's Award will go to Leo & Susan Kiely of Miller Coors.

Susan Kiely, a graduate of Denver Seminary, has served daily as chaplain and project manager for seven years at Sunset Park Senior Center, a Volunteers of America facility which offers daily programs to the 800 disadvantaged senior citizens who live in government housing in downtown Denver. She has also served the City and County of Denver as the chairperson of the Commission on Aging.

She has received many national awards including Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, the National Charity League Lifetime Achievement Award, the Republican Women's Club Achievement Award and the Volunteer's of America American Spirit Award. In Denver she has been honored with the Denver Bronco's Community Quarterback Award, the Savvy Award, The Heart of Gold Award, and is a Girl Scouts Women of Distinction.

Her husband, William "Leo" Kiely is chief executive officer of MillerCoors. His hands-on management style and keen knowledge of the beverage business will help MillerCoors achieve its vision to become the best beer company in America.

Most recently, Leo was the president and chief executive officer of Molson Coors Brewing Company, a position he accepted in 2005. He has guided the company through major transitions in recent years, including the merger of Adolph Coors Company and Molson Inc. in 2005 and the acquisition of what is now Coors Brewers Limited in the United Kingdom. Leo joined Coors in 1993 as its chief operating officer, and moved into the role of chief executive officer in 2000.

The CBCC is honoring the Kiely's for their commitment to service through the thousands of hours they have given a grateful community.
